Preparation of Material

Dosage:
Add one bottle of "Trocknungsbeschleuniger P" (drying accelerator) to the container and stir in homogeneously with a stirrer.
For tinted façade products, do not add drying accelerator until the tinting pastes have been completely
tinted and mixed.

Mixing Ratio

Add 250 ml (1 bottle) of "Trocknungsbeschleuniger P" drying accelerator per 25 kg.
Cannot be used in other Caparol or factory-set Sprinter products.

Surface Coating System

The application instructions for the recommended façade coating into which the drying accelerator is added must always be adhered to.

Consumption

250 ml per 25 kg container. Drying accelerator has thinning properties, please take this into account when adjusting the consistency.

Workability

Process mixed product promptly with drying accelerator.

Application Conditions

Lower temperature limit for processing and drying:
+5 °C to +15 °C for circulating air and substrate. The substrate must be dry and free of ice.
The technical information for the products mentioned must be observed.

Waiting Time

The addition of " Trocknungsbeschleuniger P" (drying accelerator) results in faster surface skin formation.
Through-drying and hardening results from the release of water, so that a render can remain soft for a longer period of time in a very humid environment.
The faster skin formation delays the evaporation of underlying water. The surfaces should therefore always be protected from mechanical impact.
In the case of permanent fog (100 % humidity), through-drying is not possible. Only coat connected or adjacent components with the same material (accelerated or unaccelerated). This also applies to repair areas.

Drying/Drying Time

Can be recoated after complete drying. These times are extended at lower temperatures and higher humidity.

Note

The substrate temperature can significantly deviate from the outside air temperature. Processing reliability increases as the temperature rises. A disruption-free drying process must be ensured during the cold and wet transitional period.

Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye damage. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/ eye protection/ face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/ doctor. Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant.

Disposal

Dispose of liquid material residues at the collection point for old paints/varnishes, dispose of dried material residues as construction and demolition waste or as municipal waste or domestic waste.

EU limit value for the VOC content

(Cat. A/g): 30 g/l (2010). This product contains max. 1 g/l VOC.
